On Friday 23rd March, all of our extremely talented AGF students (and Adult choir too) took part in our annual event of Musical Evening. The show opened with the original song 'A Kid Inside' from the musical 'Is There Life After Highschool', performed by our Inter/Senior class; our students really embraced the feel of highschool in the 80s!
Throughout the evening, we had a few soloist songs beautifully performed by Leila Hall, who sang the quirky but yet sassy song 'I Know It's Today' from 'Shrek: The Musical' and Tilly Belton performed the heartwrenching song 'Your Daddy's Son'. Following these solos, we had the comical songs - 'All I Want To Do Is Eat' - performed by the Inter/Senior girls and then 'What A Game' performed by the Inter/Senior boys.
The profile students took part in a VERY busy yet 'jaw-dropping' choreographed dance with CHAIRS, while singing to the classic song 'Sit Down You're Rocking The Boat' , performed with our very own Mr.Nicely - Harry Cole.
Our junior AGF students were also involved in this musical showcase, as they took part in the Mary Poppins hit - 'Supercalafragilistic' with yet again, our very own Marry Poppins - Katy Smith.  The Adult Choir sang a beautiful cover of 'Memory' from CATS (By Andrew Lloyd-Webber) and all our AGF students closed the night with the song 'Our Time' from Merrily We Roll Along.

All our students, and the choir, worked extremely hard over weeks and weeks of rehearsals and it 100% paid off! We couldn't be prouder of our students as they all excelled- well done!
We would also like to say a HUGE thank you to our singing teacher and pianist - Josh Kemp, who took a huge role in creating such beautiful covers and harmonies!
